Volunteering at My Lovely Horse Rescue
On Wednesday 16th of December, all four Phase 4 apprentices along with one of the schools senior instructors, Donal Bennett and Manager Emma Keogh, went to volunteer at My Lovely Horse Rescues Farm in Kildare. It was a very wet and windy day but we were instantly cheered up by the many wonderful residents that occupy the farm. We were greeted by a variety of animals such as pigs, goats, horses, donkeys and mules. The volunteers at the farm work very hard to ensure all animals are very well cared for. The apprentices gained valuable real-life experience under the watchful eye and guidance of Donal.
We would like to thank My Lovely Horse Rescue for welcoming us to the farm and thank them for taking such good care of all the animals, who I am sure are very grateful!
